Landscape design to the external environment around the new £13.7 million learning academy, at the forefront of a renewed interest in skills-based training in the UK.
Design included a large natural pond and wetlands with edge access for use as a teaching resource; native tree and plant species across the site to reinforce existing hedges; pollen-rich planting for insects as part of the landscape structure; and locally-important Biodiversity Action Plan species and habitats targeted.
