Integrated landscape design proposals for the redevelopment of a complex urban site in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, including two new buildings, the refurbishment of an existing building and ‘arch’ feature, and 28 car parking spaces at sub-basement level.
The landscape helps tie the disparate built form together, creating a series of green elements at grade, on podiums and at roof level, which link to surrounding gardens and green spaces.
Existing street trees are retained and augmented with new planting. This is especially relevant along Sinclair road where mature trees have been carefully retained to complement the basement level planting, which includes formal hedges and climbing plants.
